Member Type*

Select the designation most appropriate to your role.

Please provide an abbreviation.

Please provide if you are located outside of the U.S.

The Lab time may occasionally reach out to members to learn more about your work and needs, or to follow-up with you after a training. We never share your data and solely use your number for internal purposes.

If you were referred by a current Lab member, please share their name.

We require the following information for the purposes of helping our staff use the most respectful language when addressing you, better understanding our members, actively working toward an inclusive, representative Lab community, and fulfilling our grant reporting requirements. Please help us serve you better by selecting the best answers to these questions. Thank you.

Organizational annual budget*

Can your organization be classified as an environmental justice or climate justice organization?*

We draw from the work of the BEAI Initiative to define environmental & climate justice organizations as: those whose leadership is based in a geographically- or identity-based community; located in communities historically and systematically overburdened by pollution and climate change; rooted in, accountable to, and representative of communities of color, low-income communities, and tribal and Indigenous groups most directly impacted by climate change; and committed to building local power and leadership to influence the decisions that affect their communities.

Does your personal body of work or workplan focus primarily on environmental or climate justice?*

This may differ from your organization’s primary focus.

Does your organization (not your individual role) focus primarily on engaging conservatives?*

Participation Pledge

The Lab community is only as strong as its participation levels. Do you pledge to engage with our community (e.g. attending events, sharing helpful resources and information, responding to requests, etc.)?

Lab Guidelines

Once you have access to the Lab, there are several resources that are marked *confidential*. These resources are not to be shared or reported outside of the Lab community, whether by forwarding or in any sort of publication. We also ask that you take care to help us maintain a strong community "container" by not sharing Lab communications or resources with non-Lab members; you can always email us to recommend new members.

You also agree to comply fully with the Lab’s Terms of Use & Privacy Policy, including but not limited to the requirement that Lab resources be used exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.

We appreciate your help creating a space where climate practitioners can safely exchange ideas and share research, as many of our resources contain sensitive information that authors don't want shared publicly.
