A new poll from Data for Progress explores voter attitudes toward nuclear and geothermal, particularly in the context of local deployment and decarbonization.

While geothermal energy in particular is still largely unknown to voters, these survey results demonstrate a clear demand for clean energy — like solar, wind, battery storage, nuclear, and geothermal — over fossil fuels, and a strong interest in the public development and ownership of nuclear energy.
