Wednesday, April 15th, 1-3pm ET: Peer Learning Exchange: Climate campaigning during a global pandemic
- Dig into the latest polling and message testing related to Covid-19 and climate as well as some of the narratives emerging that connect both crises
- Share your ideas, insights, challenges, and opportunities for how we can work across the movement to both support urgent community needs and continue defending critical environmental safeguards and build power for meaningful action, particularly as we prepare for Earth Week and take Global Climate Strikes online.

Facebook usage has surged over the past couple months. Is your organization making the most of time spent engaging on the platform? This training will cover:
- How to maximize engagement with your Facebook content -- given the current algorithm -- including the role of paid and promoted post
- Using Groups and Messenger to support and sustain activism
- Using the Town Hall tool to track policymaker activity and facilitate contact
Monday, May 4th 2-3:30pm ET: Everything we know about peer-to-peer (P2P) texting
Peer-to-peer (P2P) texting platforms have emerged as a powerful organizing tool -- especially for organizations with distributed volunteer capacity. This training we will cover:
- How P2P texting differs from broadcast text programs
- Examples of how climate advocates are using P2P texting to generate action-taking, support leadership development, increase event turn-out, etc.
Wednesday, May 13th 2-3:30pm ET: Create engaging content across digital platforms
- Learn the basics of graphic design for social media
- Review the core principles of effective climate communication
- Practice creating compelling graphics using Canva
Tuesday, May 19th 1-2:30pm ET: Using Instagram to tell stories that motivate action
- Understand Instagram’s algorithm to maximize engagement, including the role of paid and promoted posts
- Learn how the Instagram’s “stories” features can help
Wednesday May 27th 1-3pm ET: Let’s test it!
- Learn the elements of a good digital organizing test question
- Review A/B testing via common email programs
- Review how to set up and run a Facebook ads test
- Examples of some of the coolest digital tests from across the Lab community
Tuesday, June 2nd 2-3:30pm: Peer Learning Exchange: How we’re adapting voter engagement strategies
- How are organizations thinking about voter contact (including: integrated voter engagement programs, voter registration, and Get-Out-The-Vote efforts) in this era of physical distancing?
- Members from across the Lab community will share what they are trying out and what they’re learning

- Support the synthesis, sharing, and adoption of evidence-based practices
